About the
bureau

elsewhere index is a directory for things that resist the main feed: independent brands, niche shops, singular objects, indie games and creator tools. It exists because search engines are optimized for the popular, and the popular is rarely the interesting.

The bureau does not care where a thing comes from. ████████████████████ Kyoto, Portland, Taipei, London, Brooklyn, Melbourne — all entries are filed by the same standard: is it worth finding?

→ this is a static prototype. the filing cabinet is not yet connected.
